Definitions
Some terms have different legal meanings from revenue stream to revenue stream. We’ve grouped them all together here for your convenience. They are provided as a general guide; please see the relevant legislation for more information.

Transfer duty
The value of the property being transferred disregarding any encumbrance; for example, money owed under a mortgage. See section 14 of the Duties Act 2001 for a full definition. - Regional home building boost grantUnencumbered value
Regional home building boost grant
The value of property disregarding:- any encumbrance (e.g. money owed under a mortgage)
- any arrangement that results in the reduction of the value of the property
- First home owner grantUnencumbered value
First home owner grant
The value of the property being transferred disregarding any encumbrance; for example, money owed under a mortgage. See section 8A of the First Home Owner Grant and Other Home Owner Grants Act 2000 for a full definition.
